Oscar

Oscar came to us about 4 years ago.  He had belonged to my uncle previously, so had been part of the family for quite a while previous to that.  He was our Gentle Giant.  He loved to go on walks, sit by the fire and let you pet him.  To Oscar, there was nothing better in the world then being next to the ones you love and getting a good scratch behind the ear.  We had never had a dog so large before.  It took me a while to realize you can’t leave food on the kitchen table for even a few seconds.  My daughter often asked where breakfast was when I left it on the table just minutes before!  🙂  He quickly became my daughters best friend, confident and cuddler.  When she would lay on the floor next to him, he always put his arm around her.  Such a sweet boy, such a big presence to be missing from our home.  We love you Oscie and hope you are running, hiking and playing pain free.  Can’t wait until we see you again!
